Tuesday 24 January 2023 at 2pm or 4pm
These online surgeries will take place on Zoom
Free to attend, but book your space in advance
Join one of our funding surgeries to ask your questions about the Let’s Do Net Zero Community Buildings Fund and how the Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES) can help your community in the transition to net zero.
The Let’s Do Net Zero Community Buildings Fund helps community organisations to reduce their building energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions by installing renewable technologies such as heat pumps.
The fund is open now and is planned to run until the end of March 2025, subject to funding availability.
At our funding surgeries you’ll have the opportunity to ask our development officers:
- questions about the fund and who is eligible to apply
- questions about the application process
- questions about challenges you may be facing in decarbonising your community building
- any other questions about CARES and the wider support we provide for local energy projects.
Find out more by reading the Let’s Do Net Zero Community Building Fund guidance and our answers to frequently asked questions.
The funding surgeries will be held on Zoom. They are free to attend, but you will need to register in advance.
You won’t need to stay for the whole session – you can pop in to find out more and leave once you’ve had your questions answered. While the surgeries are focused on decarbonising community buildings, you are welcome to ask questions about our support for other local energy projects.
How to book
Book your space by emailing info@localenergy.scot.
Please write ‘January funding surgery’ in the subject line of your email. Please also specify whether you’ll attend the 2pm session or the 4pm session.
We’ll send you out the Zoom links for both sessions on Monday 23 January so that you can attend either session if your plans change on the day. Please remember to check your junk/spam folder if you think you’ve not received the links.
