We’re looking for a development officer to become an employee of Scarf and join the Local Energy Scotland team delivering the Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES).

You will be responsible for providing free and impartial advice to communities and helping them to apply for funding to develop their green aspirations and build their own renewable schemes. You will have a passion for community development and a commitment to work in the green economy.

What does the job involve?

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and the salary is £27,400 (pa). Scarf is headquartered in Aberdeen, but the post holder can be based anywhere in Scotland and will be expected to travel as part of its nationwide coverage.
