Tuesday 25 June, 12:30pm to 1:30pm

This session will take place on Zoom. This event is free to attend, but please book your space in advance.

Do you have an idea for a climate-friendly way to heat your community?

Join us to find out more about the Community Heat Development Programme. This programme is funded by the Scottish Government through the Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES) and delivered by us at Local Energy Scotland.

The programme supports communities and groups of householders to work together to develop their proposals to heat houses and other buildings in their communities in a more environmentally friendly way. This fund will be closed to new applications on 31 August 2024, or when funding is fully allocated, whichever is sooner, so join us if you would like to hear more about the programme.

At this session you’ll hear from our Local Heat Development Specialist. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions about eligibility, the types of projects we expect to support, projects we are currently working with, and how to apply.

The session will be held on Zoom. It is free to attend, but you will need to register in advance. You won’t need to stay for the whole session – you can pop in to find out more and leave once you’ve had your questions answered.
