If other, please specify: | BeGreen Dunbar receives £100,000 per annum from Aikengall Community Wind Farm. BeGreen administers funding for grants (energy efficiency, renewable energy) in Ward 7 of East Lothian which is Dunbar and surrounding villages. BeGreen is an Energy Advice Centre located on the High Street in Dunbar and employs a Community Coordinator. The community coordinator helps people with relevant grant applications and gives out information on how to be as energy efficient as possible whether that's through Insulation, Draught Proofing etc or installing renewable systems. The Community Coordinator also provides information and support on community benefit grant applications for local events, projects and community groups. BeGreen Dunbar and Community Windpower also have Working Partnerships with local schools and are patrons of several local groups including Dunbar Colts 2004s and East Coast FM. |
