Wednesday 27 March 2024, 1pm to 2pm, on Zoom.
Join us to find out more about structures for community shared ownership.
Shared ownership gives community groups the chance to make an investment in a commercially owned renewable energy project. This provides an opportunity for income as well as many other benefits. It’s the Scottish Government’s ambition that all renewable developments should consider, explore and offer shared ownership opportunities.
At this online event, Burness Paull will talk through the advantages of different types of structures for setting up a body to invest. This will give you a good understanding of why groups sometimes set up a Company, a Community Benefit Society, or other types or organisation for shared ownership.
Anyone is welcome to attend, especially those from community groups, whether you’re in discussion about a shared ownership offer or just want to learn more.
This event are free, but you’ll need to book in advance. This event will be held on Zoom, and we’ll email you out the details the day before the event.
