Session 1: Tuesday 20 May 2025, 6pm to 7pm on Zoom.

Session 2: Wednesday 28 May 2025, 12.30pm to 1.30pm on Zoom.

These Local Energy Scotland online webinars are for community groups and other organisations looking to get more information on the guidance for the Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable Scheme (CARES) Community Buildings Fund.

The Community Buildings Fund is designed to help community organisations reduce their building’s energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions. It does this by funding the installation of renewable technologies like heat pumps, battery storage, and solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, as well as some energy efficiency measures.

This session will provide a clear overview of the fund’s objectives, eligibility criteria, and the application process and support available from the Local Energy Scotland team.

At the end of the session, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions so you can get the specific advice you need for your project. Our senior technical specialist and development officers will be on hand to answer any questions.

The event is free to attend but you’ll need to register in advance. The event will be on Zoom and we’ll email you out the details the day before the event.
