Session 1: Wednesday 21 May 2025, 12.30pm-1.30pm on Zoom.
Session 2: Thursday 29 May 2025, 6pm-7pm on Zoom.
These Local Energy Scotland online webinars are for community groups and other organisations looking to get more information on the guidance for the Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES) Community Energy Generation Growth Fund.
The Community Energy Generation Growth Fund is designed to help community organisations with grant funding, advice, and loan funding to progress your renewable energy projects. Support can be at the feasibility, development or construction stages of a project. Completed applications with supporting information need to be submitted by Wednesday 25 June 2025.
This session will provide a clear overview of the fund’s objectives, eligibility criteria, and the application process and support available from the Local Energy Scotland team.
At the end of the session, you will have the opportunity to ask questions so you can get the specific advice you need for your project. Our senior technical specialist and development officers will be on hand to answer any questions.
The event is free to attend but you’ll need to register in advance. The event will be on Zoom and we’ll email you out the details the day before the event.
