Edinburgh Community Solar Co-operative

Edinburgh Community Solar Co-operative (ECSC) has worked in partnership with City of Edinburgh Council to install community-owned solar panels on 24 schools and leisure centres all over Edinburgh.

The community-owned solar PV systems have a total installed capacity of 1.38 MW. ECSC supplies clean electricity to the council buildings, generating revenue which is put to good use through the community benefit fund.
