When considering a shared ownership offer from wind farm developers, the members and trustees of community organisations have concerns about the risk they may be taking on if they decide to buy a share in a local wind farm.
Fiona Gillespie and Euan MacDonald of Rathbones will give a presentation about how and why charities might consider a risk like this, the role and responsibilities of trustees in the context of charity investment, and some of the ways you can manage and de-risk investment as much as possible. Please note that in this session Fiona will not be able to discuss specific projects or give financial advice, but she can discuss and answer questions about investment and managing risk generally.
