There may be opportunities for communities to participate in flexibility services and potentially receive incentives for supporting the local electricity network. Flexibility means being able to adjust how and when electricity is used or produced. For example, using less electricity at busy times or supplying extra power when the grid needs it. This helps avoid power cuts, reduces the need for expensive upgrades to the electricity network, and supports the use of renewable energy.
