The An Suidhe Wind Farm, located in Mid-Argyll, Scotland, features 23 turbines with a total generation capacity of 19.3 MW and supports local communities through a dedicated fund.
Location and Capacity
The An Suidhe Wind Farm is situated between Loch Awe and Loch Fyne, approximately 5¼ miles (8.5 km) west of Inveraray. It was commissioned in 2010 and consists of nine Enercon E-44 turbines (900 kW each) and fourteen Enercon E-48 turbines (800 kW each), resulting in a total capacity of 19.3 megawatts (MW).
